Frequently Asked Questions
Can't find your answer? Contact us and we'll get back to you.
How does selling work?
Connect your Steam account, set your Trade URL in your profile, then visit the Sell page. Your CS2 inventory will load automatically. Select the skins you want to sell, enter your crypto wallet address, and confirm. Our bot will send you a trade offer within minutes. Once you accept and the trade is confirmed, your payout is sent automatically.
How long does a payout take?
Most payouts are processed within 5–10 minutes of trade confirmation. Network congestion on the blockchain can add additional time — typically up to 30 minutes for BTC and 5 minutes for ETH/USDT on Ethereum. You can track your order status on the Profile page.
What skins do you accept?
We accept most CS2 weapon skins, gloves, and knives that are listed in our current market inventory. Sticker capsules, cases, and non-tradable items are not supported. Item availability and pricing are updated from the live market every 10 minutes.
How do I find and set my Steam Trade URL?
In Steam, go to your Inventory → Trade Offers (top right) → "Who can send me Trade Offers?" → scroll down to "Third-Party Sites" and copy the trade URL. Paste it into your Cashout Skin profile settings and save. Without a valid Trade URL, we cannot send or receive trade offers.
Is it safe to use Cashout Skin?
We use Steam's official OpenID for authentication — we never ask for your Steam password. Our trade bot only requests items you explicitly select. We use Stripe for card payments, which means your payment details are handled by a PCI-DSS compliant processor and never stored on our servers.
Which cryptocurrencies do you support for payouts?
We support Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Litecoin (LTC), Solana (SOL), Dogecoin (DOGE), USDT (TRC-20, ERC-20, BSC and TON) and USDC (ERC-20 and BSC). The available coins and networks are shown when you submit a sell order. Make sure to select a network your wallet supports.
Do you have a minimum to sell or buy?
Very low-value items may fall below the minimum that can be processed for a trade, in which case you will see a clear message instead of an error. For buying, the minimum cart total is $1.00.
What fees do you charge?
The sell price you see already reflects our rate — there is no separate deduction beyond the network fee shown for your chosen coin before you confirm. For buying, card payments carry a processing fee (shown at checkout); crypto payments have no platform surcharge.
Is there an on-site balance or wallet?
No. Cashout Skin never holds your funds. Sell payouts are sent straight to the crypto wallet address you provide, so your money is always under your control.
Do you require KYC or identity verification?
For most standard trades you simply sign in with Steam and provide a payout wallet. In line with anti-money-laundering obligations, we may request verification for unusual or high-value activity. See our AML & KYC Policy for details.
Which countries do you support?
Cashout Skin is available to users in most regions. Access may be restricted where local law or our payment partners require it. If a payment method is unavailable in your country, you will see this at checkout.
My skin has a trade hold — can I still sell it?
Not until the hold expires. A Steam trade hold (trade lock) prevents the item from being traded until the date Steam shows on the item. Once that date passes you can sell it normally. There is no legitimate way to remove an active hold.
What happens if I decline the trade offer?
If you decline the trade offer from our bot, your order will be cancelled automatically and no payout will be sent. You can start a new sell order at any time.
What if the trade offer never arrives?
Trade offers can occasionally be delayed by Steam. First check that your Trade URL is up to date and that you don't have Trade Holds enabled on your account. If the offer has not arrived within 30 minutes, contact our support with your Order ID.
Why is the price lower than what I see on Steam Market?
Steam Market listings include a 15% Steam fee, and funds can only be spent in-store — not withdrawn. Our prices reflect the instant cash-out value. In most cases, the net amount you receive from us is comparable to or higher than what you would net after Steam's fee.
How do I buy skins on Cashout Skin?
Go to the Marketplace, find the skin you want, and click Buy. You'll be redirected to a Stripe checkout page to complete payment by card. Once payment is confirmed, our bot sends a trade offer with your skin to your Steam account.
Can I get a refund on a buy order?
Skins are digital items delivered to your Steam account, so all sales are final — once a skin has been delivered to you it cannot be reversed, returned, or refunded under any circumstances. The only exception is non-delivery: if we cannot deliver a skin you paid for (e.g. it sells out before delivery), you receive a full refund to your card because you never received the item. See our Refund & Disputes Policy for full details.
